Built on experience. Known for trust.

Construction has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Long before I moved to the United States, I was already working in the industry, gaining experience and learning the trade firsthand. When I came to America, I continued on that path, spending several years as a construction supervisor and getting to know the building industry here. In 2019, I earned my California contractor’s license and made a decision that was especially meaningful to me: I named my company after my daughter, Leyla. Since then, what began as a small, personal business has grown through hard work, dedication, and the trust of our clients. Over the years, we’ve completed dozens of projects, including home renovations, kitchen and bathroom remodels, room additions, and ADUs. Every project has been different, and each one has taught us something along the way. Looking back, what makes me most proud isn’t how many projects we’ve completed, but the reputation we’ve earned and the trust people have placed in us. That means more to me than anything else, and it’s something I intend to protect with every project we take on.

He listened carefully to what I wanted, guided me with great ideas, and always kept my vision in mind. He completed the remodel on time and within budget, communicated clearly throughout, and made sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. I wholeheartedly recommend AL and Leyla Remodeling.”
“Leyla Remodeling was referred to us by a friend and we had a great experience with them. They were always on time, never delayed anything, and worked on weekends too. Very professional yet friendly. They handled the floors, complete kitchen, all three bathrooms, recessed lighting throughout, plumbing and painting—A to Z. Al was great and helped with ideas that worked perfectly within our budget.”

Garage conversion vs. detached ADU
The right choice depends on your lot, existing structure, access, utilities and how you want to use the space.

When structural engineering becomes part of a remodel
Removing walls, adding beams or expanding a home calls for careful coordination before construction.
Early structural planning helps uncover constraints and reduce costly redesigns. A well-planned, cost-conscious approach means finding an efficient, buildable solution where the conditions allow—not skipping calculations, safety requirements or permits. Considering a structural change? Tell us what you're envisioning and let's discuss the right first steps.

What to prepare before submitting remodeling plans
A clear scope and organized plans can make the permit process easier to navigate.
Documenting existing conditions, drawings and structural questions early helps prevent avoidable rounds of revisions. Smart project planning never means skipping required permits; it means preparing thoughtfully before the work starts. If you're unsure what your remodel requires, tell us about the project and we can help you identify the questions to ask.

How to compare remodeling estimates
A useful estimate is clear about scope, exclusions, materials and timing—not just the total at the bottom.
The lowest bid doesn't always lead to the best value. Compare allowances, permits, demolition, finish specifications and change-order terms so you're evaluating the same work. A genuinely budget-friendly remodel begins with clear expectations and informed choices. Have a project or estimate in mind? Let's talk through your priorities.
